Some history about this domain.

In the wake of the dotcom bust and the rise of personal online presence, I made the decision in 2002 to establish my own digital footprint, drgn.net. This domain has served as a versatile platform hosting project websites, blogs, gaming servers, VOIP servers, development projects, and more recently, LLM projects. A journey through the archives of the Wayback Machine reveals the various iterations of drgn.net over the past couple of decades if one is so inclined.

Today, drgn.net functions as a catch-all space for my semi-serious projects. Its simplicity and memorability make it an ideal choice for this purpose. What's particularly fascinating is that prior to my registration in 2002, the domain had never been utilized on the internet. This uniqueness is especially noteworthy considering the domain's brevity, consisting of just four letters. Unlike many other 4-letter domains that have changed hands multiple times, drgn.net has remained a constant presence by a single owner. Pretty neat, to me at least.Â
